About Us
- We are a national coalition of Latino/Latino community-serving organizations united to address the COVID-19 pandemic through a collective effort that provides accurate and timely information, education, and resources to our people. We also have trusted local affiliates committed to the health, well-being, and prosperity of Latino communities.
- We impact young people from 12 to 21 years old with educational workshops that are coordinated with middle and high schools. Agricultural workers are the other population where activities are created to bring medical services to the farms. The towns we cover are Aguadilla, Mayaguez, Sabana Grande, Lajas, Yauco and Guanica.
- The POWER in HEALTH Coalition is comprised of 8 core partners, 22 affiliate organizations, and one lead agency, PROCEED, Inc., based in Elizabeth, New Jersey. Affiliates in Puerto Rico: Estancia Corazón in Mayagüez Casa del Peregrino in Aguadilla.
- Educational workshops for young people between 12 and 21 years old.
- Medical services agricultural workers, to the farms.
